  3. For assistance with configuring your iPhone handset to access the University network, or the University MCS Exchange server, please follow the instructions available here. If you are still unable to receive your MCS Exchange email, please contact the ICT Helpdesk (9351-6000) or your local IT Support.

Wireless Functionality

Previously, iPhones were not able to use the University of Sydney Wireless service to access external websites, as they were unable to use VPN and proxy settings simultaneously.

Since the release of iPhone firmware 3.0, this limitation has been removed, allowing the iPhone to utilise the University of Sydney Wireless service to access external websites.
