UniKey Account Transactions
Top-up Account
There are three ways to top up your UniKey account:
- pay online with a credit card
- pay in person
- send us a cheque by post.
Online Credit Card Payment:
You can pay on line by using your Credit Card, this is the prefered method of payment, as if you pay online, you can get a refund online.
Pay in person:
You can pay in person at some of the Access Labs . We accept EFTPOS, credit card (except American Express) and money order. Access Labs do NOT accept cash.
You are able to pay by cash by depositing the money at the Cashier's Office located in the Margaret Telfer Building, then presenting your receipt at the Helpdesk or the Fisher Access Lab.
Send us a cheque by post:
You may post us a money order or a cheque (personal or company cheques are acceptable). However, you are eligible to pay the bank charges if the cheque is dishonoured. You need :
- a covering letter with:
-
UniKey login
-
Your full name
-
Student/Staff ID
- a cheque or money order should be made payable to Information Technology Services

Credit Card Refund
If your last payment was not by credit card then you will need to come in person to the Helpdesk, and fill in a refund form, which you will then need to take to cashiers office, located in the Margaret Telfer Building (across Parramatta Rd footbridge).
Please note there is a $7 admin fee for the above process.
Another option may be to transfer your balance to a friend's account, see Transfer Funds above.
