How to set up a Scheduled Conference Call or New Conferencing Account
A Scheduled conference means that an account is set up for a single use conference call. Once all participants hang up from their conference call the account expires and cannot be re-used.
If someone needs to be able to re-use their conferencing details they will need to set up a ConferenceConnect Audio conferencing account.
The same application form should be used for both methods.
If you require a one off Teleconference call only, complete and email the application form to: and enter in the subject line"Scheduled Conference for University of Sydney".The scheduled conference will be set up by Conferencing Client Support and the dial in details and passcodes for the Scheduled call will be sent to the Moderator.
If you envisage yourself being a frequent user of this system it's a good idea for you to have an account created so that you can utilise this service at any time without having to pre-book calls. You should complete and email the application form to with the completed information. In the subject line enter "New Moderator for University of Sydney".
Please note that all details must be provided before an account will be set up. Incomplete details will not be accepted.
The account will be set up within 4 working hours and new conferencing details emailed directly to the moderator/user. Once this email is received the account is active and ready to use. Because this is an automated conferencing service there is no need to book the conference call in advance. A confirmation email will be sent to the Help Desk advising that this account has now been setup.
