How to Configure Citrix ICA Client for Mac OS X and Netscape 7 Web Browser for NFuse access
Requirements:
Netscape Navigator for Mac OS X (version 7.0 and higher)
ICA Client for Mac OS X (version 6.30.314 and higher)
1. Download and Install the latest Netscape Navigator for Mac OS X
URL: http://www.citrix.usyd.edu.au/support/netscape/Netscape-macosX.smi.bin
2. Download the latest Citrix Mac OS X ICA client and Install it by default
URL: http://www.citrix.usyd.edu.au/clients
3. Configure the desired “Windows Size” by using Citrix ICA Client Editor
Option -> Default Settings -> Connection Properties -> Windows and Sounds
4. The printer mapping is transparent, so you don't need to configure it. But you need to make sure that there is at least one printer defined on Mac OS X.
5. Set the default "Network Protocol" to "TCP/IP" by using Citrix ICA Client Editor
Options -> Default Settings -> Making a connection -> Server Location -> Network Protocol -> Select "TCP/IP" -> click "Save"
6. Define a MIME type for Citrix ICA Client in Netscape Navigator.
Launch Netscape Navigator 7.0, point to "Navigator" menu -> Preference -> Helper Application, and then click "New Type"
Description of type: Citrix ICA Connection
File Extension: asp
MIME Type: application/x-ica
Application to use: use "Choose" to select "Citrix ICA Client"
7. Launch a Netscape Navigator window, type the URL http://www.citrix.usyd.edu.au, and enter an username and password, after that a list of icons should be appeared, click a link for a certain application (for instance, ERP - Finance Production, ERP – HR Production, ERP – FlexSIS Production …), then a Citrix session will be fired up automatically.
