Citrix NFuse Installation Guide for Macintosh User
1. Launch Netscape Navigator, go to Location, type in http://www.citrix.usyd.edu.au, then press Enter button.
2. A web page will be appeared as below
3. Click on the button “please click here”, then a Get Started page will popup
4. Click “Click here for a new citrix user”, and follow the Quick Start Guide
5. OR click “Click here for a new citrix user”, and follow the Roll Out Guide
6. Click “Citrix ICA Client for Macintosh”, then click “Macintosh” to download and install a Citrix ICA Client.
Please follow the instructions as below,
(1) Click the Download button.
(2) Decompress the downloaded install file using an appropriate utility. (If your browser doesn't support decompression automatically, decompress the downloaded install file using Stuffit Expander or a similar application.)
(3) Open the Citrix ICA Client folder created by the decompression utility.
(4) Double click the Installer icon to run the installation program.
(5) Follow the setup instructions.
7. Click “Mac NFuse Browser” to download and install the latest Mac NFuse browser
"NFuse Client" folder will be created on the desktop
8. Close all Netscape Navigator windows
9. Double click to open “NFuse Client” folder from the desktop. Create an alias of “Citrix NFuse Mac Client” by pressing + M at the same time, and then point the alias to desktop.
10. After you have created the alias, close the “NFuse Client” folder and leave it on Desktop.
11. Double click “Citrix NFuse Mac client alias” to start the NFuse Browser.
12. Add Bookmark, then click the button “please click here”
13. Tick “Do not show this windows at logon” check box, after that click Close Window.
14. From the toolbar, select Edit, then Preferences. Under Navigator, select Applications
15. Scroll down “Description” box to find “Citrix ICA Client”, select it and click the “Edit” button.
16. From the “Edit Type” box, select the “Application” radio button
17. Click Choose, and select Citrix ICA Client, and then click Open to select the default path, after that click OK
18. Go back to Citrix NFuse Logon Window, enter Username and Password, then click “Login Please” button.
19. If the user’s credential is entered correctly, the application icons will be showed as below.
20. Click an application you want, then a window will come up with a legal message box.
21. Click OK, then a SecurID Authentication window will popup
22. A desired application sign-on window will come up, after a correct PASSCODE has been entered. Please type in an appropriated Username and Password for the application access.
