Connecting on Campus

Open Internet Explorer

Go to the Tools menu and choose Internet Options

Click on the Connections tab and then click the LAN Settings button that appears in the lower half of the window

Tick the second box that says Use Automatic configuration script and enter the following address http://www.usyd.edu.au/proxy.pac

Then click on OK and OK

Go to the Edit menu and choose the Preferences option

Click on the box (or triangle) next to the Advanced category.

Click on the Proxies submenu.

Select Automatic Proxy Configuration.In the space that appears, type http://www.usyd.edu.au/proxy.pac

Click OK to finish the setup process
