Network Security

The Network Security Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of information security. The position is responsible for implementing (in conjunction with system managers):

• network and server security systems,
• investigation of computer security incidents
• liaision with law enforcement agencies and AUSCERT
• provision of advice to the University community on computer issues and network security
• development, integration and maintenance of security applications.
• development and maintenance of computer and network security policies.
