Sydney Basin Fibre Network

The Sydney Basin Fribre Network, SBFN, is an unincorporated joint venture of the following 5 institutions:

• The University of Sydney
• The University of Western Sydney
• The University of Techonology, Sydney
• The University of New South Wales
• Macquarie University

With our partner and facilities manager Aarnet, the SBFN has provided gigabit network connectivity between the 5 institutions to promote collaboration in teaching and research. A secondary aim of the SBFN is to promote the availability and use of cultural sites by staff and students of the institutions by facilitating the connection of these organisations to the SBFN.
